Eddie Alvarez: ‘Losing to Cerrone pissed me off a lot’
“It was bad (dealing with loss). I’ve been fighting for a long time and I thought I knew how to deal with losing a lot better than how I dealt with it. For me, it’s always good to lose every once in a while. I don’t really care about winning, as long as I don’t lose. It’s good to get that feeling again, to get that fire, to get excited again to get back in there again and compete. It pissed me off a lot. So, I am going to have a lot going into this next one, a lot of motivation, a lot of fire for my next training camp.”
In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, newly signed UFC lightweight, Eddie Alvarez, discussed his debut loss to Donald Cerrone.
