Eddie Gordon vs. Antonio Carlos Junior set for UFC Fight Night 70

A middleweight bout between former “TUF” winners Eddie Gordon and Antonio Carlos Junior has been added to June’s UFC Fight Night 70 event in Florida.

UFC officials recently announced the news.

The winner of “The Ultimate Fighter Season 19”, Eddie Gordon (7-3 MMA), will be looking to snap a two-fight losing skid when he faces Carlos Junior later this month. “Truck” was last seen in action at April’s UFC on FOX 15 event, where he suffered a controversial split-decision loss to Chris Dempsey.

Meanwhile, the winner of “TUF: Brazil 3”, Antonio Carlos Junior (4-1 MMA), will also be looking to rebound this after suffering a decision loss to Patrick Cummins in his most recent effort. The 25-year-old Brazilian will be making his middleweight debut when he takes on Gordon in Florida.

UFC Fight Night 70 takes place June 27 live from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The event is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 following the prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
