A welterweight bout between Erick Silva and Rick Story will serve as the co-main event for the UFC’s debut in Saskatoon this August.

UFC officials announced the news earlier today via a press release.

Rick “The Horror” Story (18-8 MMA) was most recently seen in action at October’s UFC Fight Night event in Sweden, where he handed Gunnar Nelson the first loss of his career via judges split-decision. Prior to that, Story earned a submission victory over Leonardo Mafra in July of 2014.

Meanwhile, Erick Silva (18-5 MMA) will be looking to extend his current win streak to three in a row when he faces Story this August in Saskatoon. Silva is coming off a submission win over former title challenger Josh Koscheck, which he earned at March’s UFC Fight Night event in Brazil.

UFC Fight Night 74 takes place August 23 live from the beautiful SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The event is headlined by a key featherweight fight featuring Hawaiian Max Holloway taking on Brazilian standout Charles Oliveira.
