Faber Not Surprised With ‘Bruce Leeroy’ Booking

Since his time on TUF, Alex ‘Bruce Leeroy’ Cacares has had a very successful bantamweight run inside the UFC.

Up next for the rising slugger is MMA legend, Urijah Faber.

For Faber, having fought the division’s entire top 10, admits he expected the booking and has been watching the young up-and-comer since entering the UFC fold.

“I’m a big fan of The Last Dragon, Bruce Leroy and Sho’nuff, that’s one of my favorite movies growing up. So I’ve always kept my eye on the guy. The one thing that’s always stood out about him is the guy is always smiling, he’s always happy. And that’s usually a good ingredient for success.”

The two will fight at UFC 174 in July.
