Fabricio Werdum Taking A 6 Month Vacation
“I want to rest a little bit. I trained a lot … training for a long time. I want to enjoy my family, just a little bit, then I want to fight again, maybe in December. Arlovski is good. He beat Travis Browne now. I beat Travis Browne. My question is, who is the daddy?”
UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum told the analyst on UFC Tonight that he plans on taking a vacation with his family before getting back in the octagon to defend his belt.
Werdum mentioned December as a possibility for his return and says he would like to fight Andrei Arlovski. Right now there are basically three names in the running for the next shot at the heavyweight strap.
Arlovski, Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos are all saying that they are ready to go. Dana White said that Dos Santos was injured and wouldn’t be able to fight, but the former champion has since come out and said that he is in fact healthy and would be ready by the end of the year.
