Former Champ Pettis Clarifies Anti-Khabib Remarks

Minutes after it was announced that Khabib Nurmagomedov would be forced out of his UFC 187 bout with Donald Cerrone, “Showtime” was there to throw salt in the wound.

Pettis took to social media upon hearing the news and told Nurmy he hopes the disability checks pay well. While this was sent out as a one-off tweet, it was actually in response to another tweet from Khabib months ago.

Pettis meant no harm by the tweet other than to get revenge on the man who has been trash talking him for months. Let’s hope these two get to settle it in the octagon soon.
