Gastelum, Lineker Fined 30% For Missed Weight

Good news, bad news, for Kelvin Gastelum and John Lineker.

After missing weight at today’s UFC 183 weigh-ins, the two men were fined 30% of their fight purses. The usual punishment for missing weight is 20%, however due to the nature of the situation an additional 10% was added to their fine.

The good news is that the fights are still on. Prior to the 30% deals, both bouts were in jeopardy.

Gastelum weighed in at 180 pounds for his welterweight bout. Lineker weight in at 130 pounds for his flyweight bout.

Their fines will go to their opponents.
