Rani Yahya and Johnny Bedford were on their way to an exciting fight until Yahya was knocked out due to an accidental clash of heads. Bedford celebrated and believed he won, then could not believe it when the fight was declared a no-contest.

Bedford tried to make his case as to why he was the winner but the officials would have none of it. He stated that he suffered from the head-butt as well, and the fact that he survived it meant he should have been deemed the winner.
