Dan Henderson brought an already-electric crowd to their feet last night after his dominant performance in the octagon against Tim Boetsch. Boetsch didn’t even have an opportunity to gain any momentum as Henderson clobbered him in the opening minute and ultimately ended the fight in twenty-eight seconds.

Directly after the fight, however, Henderson could be seen shaking his right hand which indicates an injury. Hand injuries in the octagon usually mean a broken hand, but Hendo things he simply sprained his thumb and thinks the chilling of a beer will help speed recovery.

“I don’t think it’s broken,” Henderson said during the post fight press conference. “I think right at the end I was hitting him at a different angle. I might have sprained my thumb or something. Nothing a cold beer won’t help.”

Currently unranked, do you think Dan Henderson will find his way toward the top fifteen of the middleweight division? Who will he knock off? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
