Herb Dean points out interesting observation about Rousey at UFC 193

Saturday night at UFC 193 Holly Holm put on a striking clinic against Ronda Rousey, capturing the UFC women’s bantamweight championship and laying out the blueprint for how to defeat Rousey.

While Holm certainly put on a flawless performance against Rousey, Herb Dean, who was the referee for the fight, pointed out an interesting observation about Rousey that he had.

He spoke to Fox Sports:

“I think I might have seen her in better physical shape. That’s something I noticed. The people are looking for answers but it’s not always on one side. I have to give Ronda a lot of credit — even though the things she was doing weren’t working well — she kept at it.”

Many fans noticed at weigh-ins the day before the fight that Rousey looked very thin and ‘drained’ as if she had a rough weight-cut.

While many have criticized Rousey since the loss, Holly Holm has stayed classy as always, and even defended Rousey from the critics! You can read about that by clicking THIS LINK.
