‘I’m attacking Mendes Like A Runaway Truck’
Leading up to their UFC 179 rematch tomorrow night, Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes have taken verbal shots at one another, and even not so verbal sometimes (See that HERE).
Aldo spoke in a recent interview about what it’s like defending his featherweight strap in Brazil once again, and whether or not he’ll jump into the crowd of cheering Brazilian’s to celebrate should he win.
His words via Globo:
“The support is wonderful. I’m an emotional guy and my confidence rises because of that. I know that the arena is going to be full and everybody is going to vibrate with me. I’m sure that I’m coming forward like a runaway truck.”
When it comes to celebrating with the Brazilian crowd, Aldo had the following to say:
“With Lord’s grace, we are going to do what we have to do or the security will catch me and don’t let me do anything.”
Who do you have in this highly anticipated featherweight rematch?
