John Dodson Set to Face Newcomer Darrell Montague At UFC 166

Former flyweight title challenger, John Dodson, is set to welcome one of the divisions top ranked fighters, Darrel Montague,  in his UFC debut.

UFC officials announced the bout via twitter.

Montague has been widely regarded as one of the world’s top 125 pound fighters and he has now inked a multi-fight deal with the UFC and jumps right into the deep end of the talent pool.

Dodson last fought for the UFC’s world title where he dropped a decision to the champ, Demetrious Johnson.

UFC 166 is set to take place from Houston, Texas on October 9. In the main event Cain Velasquez will take on Junior dos Santos for the UFC heavyweight title and complete their trilogy live on pay-per-view.
