Jon Jones: ‘I’m Not Chuck Liddell’

UFC light-heavyweight champion, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones, is used to finding himself on the defensive.

Most recently, John Hackleman, the legendary trainer of Chuck Liddell and Glover Teixeira, drew the comparison between Jones and Liddell, citing reason’s why people aren’t fond of the current champion.

Today at Jackson’s MMA, the fight-team and trainers held a media day and during some Q&A, Jon Jones, touched on the topic with mmajunkie.com,

“I’m not Chuck Liddell. I’m just me. I’m shamelessly me. I’m really proud of what I’ve been able to do in my career, and I don’t try to compare myself to guys like Chuck or any champion.

“I figure as long as I’m breaking records and doing my part, that’s all that matters.”
