After winning the Metamoris heavyweight championship earlier this month, Josh Barnett says he’s in no rush to respond to Jared Rosholt’s callout and return to the UFC.

His words:

“It’s unusual for someone to actually call me out for once,” the former UFC heavyweight champion said on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour. “But I mean, I guess if there was a possibility to make that fight, I would show the world exactly why I’m not the one call out.

The UFC tentatively has reserved the Madison Square Garden on April 23rd for a highly anticipated Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier rematch at UFC 198 without knowing for certain whether or not New York will allow the UFC to host an event there.
