Junior dos Santos suffered cut that required stitches three weeks prior to UFC 166 title fight
Yesterday, former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos revealed that he suffered a cut above his right eye brow three weeks ago that required stitches.
But, according to the Brazilian bomber, the cut is fully healed and should be a non-issue come fight night. In fact, on yesterday evenings “UFC Tonight,” JDS, who had a knee injury in his first bout with Velasquez and an over-training issue in the rematch, assured mixed martial arts (MMA) fans that he is currently “100 percent.”
Junior dos Santos will look to reclaim the UFC’s heavyweight title this Saturday night at UFC 166 in Houston, Texas, when he faces current champ Cain Velasquez for the third time in the evenings main event.
