Jussier Formiga: ‘It’s My Time For A Title Shot’
UFC flyweight Jussier Formiga did his job and beat Wilson Reis this past weekend, making his win streak 3 in a row.
Now, the fighter is calling for his title shot. Formiga is the only top 5 flyweight that hasn’t already challenged Demetrious Johnson for his belt. Here’s what Formiga told the media on Saturday.
“I think it’s my time to fight for the title, but that’s up to the UFC to decide. If they give me a chance, you can bet I’ll do my best. Demetrious Johnson is a great champion, but everyone has their flaws, he is evolving, but every fight is 50/50. I don’t mean to put him down, but I think I could have a great fight against him. “
