“Karate Hottie” Waterson Finds a Date for Her First UFC Fight

Newly signed UFC strawweight Michelle Waterson, better known to the rest of the world as “The Karate Hottie”, just confirmed that she officially has her first UFC opponent!

Angela Magana will be looking to bounce back from a loss in her UFC debut against Tecia Torres when she steps into the cage with Waterson at the ‘Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale’. The event is set to take place on July 12th and there is no word where it will be placed on the card.

Waterson first started gaining momentum when she acquired a cult-following when she appeared on popular television show “American Ninja Warrior”. Waterson was with Invicta FC at the time and went on to win the company’s atomweight championship. Even though she only made one successful title defense, it was impressive and showcased her top-level kickboxing skills.
