Kikuno vs. Mulhern Set For UFC Fight Night 34 In Singapore
A lightweight bout has been added to UFC Fight Night 34 when the promotion heads overseas to Singapore in January.
The newly announced contest will put UFC newcomer Katsunori Kikuno opposite Quinn Mulhern in a bout that was announced via twitter by UFC officials.
The Fight Night event has yet to take shape and broadcast plans and venue are still up in the air, however we know that Singapore is the city and January 4 is the date.
At 31, Kikuno enters the UFC as a DEEP Japan champion on a five-fight winning streak. With a style mixed of Judo and Karate, the Japanese based fighter has notched 14 stoppages in 21 career victories.
Mulhern will make his debut as a UFC lightweight after suffering a TKO loss at UFC 158 at the hands of Rick Story. Prior to his UFC debut the Strikeforce import was on a three-fight winning streak.
