Amirkhani Plans To Buy His Mother A Bed With His $50,000 Bonus Money

Last night Makwan Amirkhani made his UFC debut in spectacular fashion as he KO’d Andy Ogle in just 8 seconds (See that HERE). The flying knee TKO was enough to win Amirkhani $50,000 in post-fight bonus money for ‘performance of the night’.

Following the bout, Amirkhani spoke to media members at the “UFC Fight Night Stockholm” post-fight press conference to discuss what he plans to do with the money.

“I’ve never had that much money. This is a true story. There’s me and my sister and my mom living in the same house, and we have only two rooms. So my mom gave the rooms to us, and she sleeps in the living room on a mat. And, it’s not nice, but what can I do?”

“She gave the bed for us. Now, when I go home and I move to Stockholm, I will give her the room, and I will buy a – I think with $10,000 – a bed that flies.”
