Mayweather denies telling 50 Cent to post Rousey KO meme

While many used Ronda Rousey’s UFC 193 knockout loss to Holly Holm as an opportunity to bash Rousey, much to the dismay of UFC President Dana White, Floyd Mayweather decided to squash his beef with Rousey. ‘Money’ defended Rousey from critics, and even offered to help her with her boxing when she was ready to train again.

Given that, it came as a shock that immediately following Holm’s KO win, rap icon 50 Cent posted a meme to Instagram which he said Floyd Mayweather told him to post.

The post was removed shortly after, however Bleacher Report got a screenshot.

Mayweather spoke to Fight Hype to explain that he didn’t have anything to do with 50 Cent’s post.

“That’s not true at all. I haven’t really spoke to anyone about the Ronda Rousey situation, just to set the record straight.

I don’t think it’s cool how everyone is trolling her on social media. Certain things you have to learn. People will love you on Friday and then Sunday morning, it’s nothing but negative comments and people making jokes and people making fun about you, which I don’t think is cool.”
