It is no secret that featherweight contenders Chad Mendes and Conor McGregor do not like eachother.

With that said, the UFC 189 event headliners did find something to agree on during their UFC 189 media conference call. Neither man wants to fight champion Jose Aldo on Brazilian soil.

In fact, Conor McGregor actually demanded that Aldo fight him in Dublin should the two eventually meet inside the octagon:

“It’s the McGregor division now,” declared Conor. “He went running, it’s my call now. So if he wants to come back with his tail between his legs, that’s no problem. He can come back and we can do the stadium in Dublin. But it’s my call now.”

Mendes, who has suffered two losses to Aldo in Brazil, echoed the statements made by McGregor:

“I agree,” Mendes said. “I fought the guy twice in Brazil now. If I get that belt, I am fighting that dude in the states this time.”

McGregor and Mendes will square off for the interim featherweight title in the main event of UFC 189 on July 11 live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Who do you have taking home the belt?
