Medical Suspensions: Rousey Gets 7 Day Term Following 14 Second Win

The California State Athletic Commission has released their list of mandatory medical suspensions, following Saturday’s UFC 184 event.

Ronda Rousey joins 12 other fighters from the night, who will all serve out a precautionary 7 day suspension.

The rest of the event’s fighters weren’t so lucky.

Raquel Pennington, Roan Carneiro, Roman Salazar, Tim Means, Dhiego Lima, Ruan Potts, and Valmir Lazaro all received 180 day suspensions and will need a doctor’s clearance to return prior.

Richard Walsh was suspended 45 days, following his loss to Alan Jouban.
