Michael Bisping explains wanting the fight with Anderson Silva once again

By Russell Ess - November 23, 2015

Michael Bisping can’t seem to make up his mind.

“The Count” went from campaigning for a chance to fight former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, to saying he would never fight him with his previous positive tests for steroids, to now wanting to fight “The Spider” once again.

Bisping has gone on a whirlwind with his fascination with the middleweight great and spoke with MMAJunkie Radio on his recent change of mind:
“I thought, ‘You know what, screw it.’ I’ll put my judgement to one side, and I’ll take the fight because it is Anderson Silva,” Bisping said. “He is a legend, and I want to have the biggest fights possible. But generally, that is the rule I’m going to stick to,” referring to his previous statements on not accepting fights with opponents who have had a history with performance-enhancing drugs.

However, his campaign may have to wait as rumors of a rematch between Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort have been the latest rumblings on the Spider’s return to the Octagon.

Who would you rather see Anderson Silva face in his return to the UFC? A rematch with Belfort, or should Bisping get his shot against the former champion?
