Miesha Tate to Ronda Rousey: ‘You just got beat!’

Holly Holm shocked the world of mixed martial arts on Saturday evening when sent Ronda Rousey crashing to the canvas in the conclusion of UFC 193. While Holm’s coaches, friends, and family were ecstatic to see Holm become the new UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, nobody was happier to see Ronda Rousey lose than longtime rival Miesha “Cupcake” Tate, it seems!
Tate wasn’t in Melbourne, Australia to see the events unfold in person, but she watched it live at a local sports bar and spoke with Sapphire Las Vegas moments after the fights ended. “I’m f****** stoked,” Tate told Sapphire Las Vegas. “**** Ronda Rousey. **** her and her ‘Nobody has the right to beat me.’ Nobody has the right to beat you? Well you just got beat, *****.”
After she sent a not-so-polite message to the former champion, she continued to praise Holm and her gameplan. “Anyways, I’m proud of Holly. She had a perfect, flawless game plan. She came in with it tonight and now she is the champion. I look forward to that fight, because I think that I’m next in line.”
Where do you think Tate ranks among the rest of the ladies in the bantamweight division? Should she sit on the sidelines and wait for a championship shot, or should Cat Zingano be next in line for her? If Ronda Rousey wins the rubber match with Holly Holm, should they square off for a third time right away, or give somebody else a shot at gold? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
