Nick Diaz Gets Jail Time for DUI Cases

Nick Diaz’s absence from the octagon has not gone unnoticed. The UFC fighter failed a post-fight drug test at UFC 183 and a future hearing with the NSAC will decide his fate as a fighter.

Diaz recently learned, however, that he will be serving jail time for an incident in September 2014. Diaz was arrested in Lodi, California on September 6 on suspicion of DUI, obstructing a police officer, destruction of evidence and driving with a suspended license.

TMZ Sports learned today that Diaz will be serving only two nights in jail, one of which is already being credited for.

In addition to serving a day in jail, Diaz will serve three years of informal probation and must complete a DUI educational course.
