Nick Diaz makes an announcement following NSAC hearing
It was a breath of fresh air after the Nevada State Athletic Commission came to a settlement on Nick Diaz’s suspension and fine on Tuesday.
The commission who previously had a five-year suspension and $165,000 fine slapped on Diaz for testing positive for Marijuana in the state for the third time reduced the penalties on Tuesday. Diaz’s reduced suspension will allow him to compete again in August 2016 and his fine was reduced to $100,000.
Diaz took to social media to announce a thank you to those supporting him in the fight outside of the Octagon. Diaz posted a selfie and said in his post, “I’d like to thank Dana, Lorenzo, UFC, my attorney’s and all my fans. Back to work. 💯💪…”
