Nick Diaz: ‘UFC Put Me In Touch With Their Lawyers’
On Tuesday, the support for former UFC champion Jon Jones was evident, with both UFC president Dana White and CEO Lorenzo Fertitta in attendance during the court hearing.
However, we’ve seen little to no real support for Nick Diaz coming from the UFC since his five-year suspension was handed down, not even a statement on the matter.
Now though, according to Diaz himself, they might actually be looking to lend a hand, sort of. Diaz took to twitter and posted that the UFC had put him in touch with their legal team and also said that they would be helping him with the NSAC as well.
This is pretty big news, as I’m sure you can imagine. Diaz’s lawyers already seemed more than capable of handling the situation and now with the help of the UFC’s big time lawyers I think it’s safe to say he’s got a pretty good chance of getting something accomplished, whether it be an overturning of the suspension or what not.
What do you guys think?
@ufc put me in touch with their lawyers at Campbell & Williams and they will also be helping me with the NSAC
