Retired UFC fighter Chris Leben is currently serving out a 120 day jail sentence. It came about after he plead guilty to breaking into his ex-wife’s apartment back in June. Leben entered jail on Sept. 21 and has since been updating fans on his situation using his social media. He’s posted on Twitter and Facebook, letting fans know how he’s doing and apparently he’s holding an upcoming Q&A.

Conor McGregor likes to look sharp, that’s obvious, but it looks like his taste for the more lavish things in life have come with some negative backlash. In a brand new video from ‘Vegetable Police’ the UFC interim featherweight champion is being called out for his decision to wear real caiman crocodile skin shoes. The video shows McGregor bragging about them, then we see the manner in which the animals are slaughtered in order to obtain such shoes. The video throws a lot of shame at McGregor, but hopes that he’s just not aware of the practices that happen in order for him to wear his fancy shoes.

At yesterday’s UFC Fight Night: Japan weigh-ins ‘Road To Japan’ finalist Teruto Ishihara walked out to step on the scale, but before that had some other business to attend to. During the weigh-in show, all the analyst could talk about was Ishihara’s response to why he fights. Apparently when asked all he kept saying was that he wanted to fight so he could pick up girls. The, like clockwork he stopped on the stage, turned to the Octagon girl and gave her a smile and a hand wave.

Back in 2007 at ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ 5 Finale Gray Maynard and Rob Emerson entered the octagon and went to battle. In the second round of their fight, Maynard was able to get a hold of Emerson, pick him up and slam him down. Then, we saw a rather confusing turn of events.

UFC Fight Night: Japan goes down tonight with heavyweights Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson set to headline. However, it was two of the UFC’s lighter weight fighters who took on a sumo champion. Flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson and Cub Swanson tried their best to move the sumo wrestler, but they failed big tim. Swanson posted the video on his Instagram, showing the two of them giving their all to push the massive sumo champ even an inch.

The UFC heads to Japan on Saturday night at UFC Fight Night: Nelson vs. Barnett. As the name suggests, in the main event the heavyweights will collide as Roy ‘Big Country’ Nelson takes on Josh Barnett. In the night’s co-main event flashy striker Uriah Hall will take a huge leap up in competition and battle Gegard Mousasi.

UFC Fight Night: Japan goes down on Saturday night and the main event is something that has lots of fans excited. It’s never a good idea to blink during a heavyweight fight because of the power they bring into the cage. That is even more true in this fight, with Roy Nelson and Josh Barnett looking to take each other out. Also on the main event is a fight between Gegard Mousasi and Uriah Hall and a scarp between Chico Camus and Kyoji Horiguchi.

In the co-main Uriah Hall will step up in competition and take on veteran Gegard Mousasi. UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, or Joanna ‘Champion’, is set to defend her title for the second time at UFC 193 on Nov. 14 in Melbourne, Australia. Her opponent? Valerie Letourneau, a fighter with a record of 8-3 and is currently on a four fight win streak and undefeated in the UFC. Anyone who’s really payed attention, or knows anything about Letourneau skills understands that she’s definitely a tough task for the champ. Unfortunately, it looks like just about no one is really giving her a chance.

For those who didn’t know, an MMA event in Dagestan took place today and was streamed on UFC Fight Pass. UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum was in attendance, along with former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. At one point during the broadcast Silva was interviewed and asked about his career and his future in the UFC.

Ex-UFC champ Josh Barnett is set to collide with Roy ‘Big Country’ Nelson at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night: Japan event. Barnett is coming off of a loss to Travis Browne, all the way back in Dec. of 2013, where he was stopped with brutal elbows. Before that he was on a two fight win steak.

In a recent report it was revealed that three weeks prior to UFC 152, an email containing Vitor Belfort’s drug test results, which showed extremely high levels of testosterone, was emailed out from the UFC to several manager and fighters, on accident. The UFC then quickly worked to retract the email, telling recipients to ignore it and to delete is ASAP.

Former WEC and UFC lightweight Anthony Njokuani recently took to Facebook and posted a statement in response to all the claims that Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig uses racial jokes and made african american fighters feel uncomfortable while he was at Team Alpha Male. Njokuani, a longtime friend of Ludwig, decided to share his thoughts and said that it’s hard for him to hear all these things that he’s never seen from Duane.

In a strange situation, UFC heavyweight Soa ‘The Hulk’ Palelei has been banned from visiting sick children in an Australian hospital. Palelei is also an ambassador for Make-a-Wish and was in the process of getting ready to do a 24-hour stint on an ergo grinder, with WA rugby league champion Matt Fuller, as a part of a fundraiser.

UFC fighter Nick Diaz is still feeling the love from the MMA community, who continue to show their support in countless ways. There is of course the White House petition, which currently (at the time of writing this) has 57,108 signatures. It needs 100,000 before Oct. 14.

Upcoming UFC lightweight title challenger Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerorne now has an ongoing feud with interim featherweight champ Conor McGregor. It all seemed to start at the ‘GO BIG’ press conference, where both fighters took shots at each other. McGregor insisted that he’s going to move up to lightweight after he beats Jose Aldo, while Cerrone urged him to stay where he’s at, or he might be in for a rude awakening.
