The former Strikeforce champ is currently out of action because of the highly controversial five year suspension ordered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for Diaz’s alleged failed drug test from UFC 183. The MMA world has been in an uproar since then, signing White House Petitions, boycotting fighting in Nevada and just all around showing overwhelming support for the fighter.

UFC strawweight Paige VanZant will fight Joanne Calderwood on Dec. 10 in Las Vegas. The fight will serve as the night’s main event and the whole card will stream on UFC Fight Pass. VanZant is currently on a three fight win streak and is rapidly growing in popularity. VanZant is on somewhat of a TUF alum tear. In her last two fights she’s taken out TUF 20 cast members Felice Herrig and Alex Chambers. If she can beat Calderwood, who was also a cast member, than she might just start being called the TUF 20 killer. No? Ok.

Jose Aldo In Jeopardy Of Losing His 'Venum' Sponsorship Because Of Reebok

UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo will be fighting for the first time under the promotion’s Reebok deal when he faces Conor McGregor at UFC 194, taking place on Dec. 12. That means Aldo will not be wearing his usual ‘Venum’ trunks into the cage. And because of that, his deal with the sponsor might be in jeopardy.

There’s been a lot of talk about UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor moving up to lightweight following his fight with champ Jose Aldo at UFC 194. Even the Irishman himself has talked about it, feuding with 155’s Donald Cerrone and champ Rafael dos Anjos. However, UFC president Dana White recently revealed that McGregor told him if he beats Aldo then he would also like to fight Frankie Edgar before switching divisions.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion and current top ten middleweight Lyoto Machida has been out of the octagon since suffering a brutal loss to Yoel Romero, in which Romero pounded Machida with elbows until the referee stepped in and stopped the fight. Before that, Machida suffered a submission loss to Luke Rockhold in a one-sided beat down. He’s actually 1-3 in his last four, with his only win coming over CB Dolloway. After his loos to Romero in June Machida said he needed to take a little bit of a break and now, according to UFC Tonight, the Dragon plans on returning in early 2016 and already has an opponent in mind.

On Wednesday night’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter we finally got to to see coach Conor McGregor really fall into that role, working with his team during evening practices, helping them game-plan and giving them advice. He took it a step further during the fight, going completely nuts when his fighter wouldn’t do what he told him to do. McGregor watched as his fighter kept dropping down for a takedown, failing, then pulling guard. Conor was going crazy over on the sidelines, throwing his sunglasses at the cage and cursing up a storm.
