Holly Holm 'fears everything' about Ronda Rousey

Holly Holm is nearly two months away from the biggest challenge of her professional fighting career and it sounds like she has an idea of what she is walking into. The two-fight veteran of the octagon will fly into Melbourne, Australia at UFC 193 to challenge Ronda Rousey for her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. The bookies were quick to label Holm as the heavy underdog, and she doesn’t blame them; She fears everything about “Rowdy”. “She’s got a well-rounded game. I’m not going in there thinking, ‘Oh, I only have to worry about— you know— grappling.’ I do know she has knockout power so I don’t feel like you guys are going to see what you’ve seen before with her,” Holm told Inside MMA earlier this week. “I fear everything about her. Standup, ground, clinch, all that. And I feel like that’s the way you need to be with any fighter.”

Ben Henderson explains 'terrible' performance at ADCC 2015

Former lightweight champion Ben Henderson represented the UFC at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club on Saturday and came up short in his first match and only of the day. “Bendo” got submitted by Abdukadirov Magomed. Magomed took the back of Henderson who shortly tapped out after getting trapped in a rear naked choke attempt. Henderson shared his thoughts on his performance: “I think it was not a very good performance at all,” Henderson told MMA Fighting. “It was a downright terrible performance. I’m not used to having those type of terrible performances when I compete, I have better performances.”

Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber’s season of “The Ultimate Fighter” may be right around the corner, but a major bout featuring the last season of the show has just been announced! The last season of the reality show pit rival gyms American Top Team and Blackzilians against each other in a battle for supremacy. ATT’s most valuable player of the season Hayder Hassan is set to take on Vicente Luque in a rematch of the final fight of the season. UFC announced the fight earlier this week. American Top Team called upon Hassan three times throughout the competition and the welterweight walked out with three wins under his belt. Hassan gave ATT their first win of the season in the fifth episode when he knocked out Andrews Nakahara in the opening round. He would go on to defeat Felipe Portela and Luque by way of decision.

Late Friday night, UFC president Dana White went on Sportscenter and announced that Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm will be the main event of UFC 193, which will take place on Nov. 14 in Melbourne, Australia. It was originally scheduled to take place at UFC 195 on Jan. 2.
