It will mark the first time Ronda Rousey will appear in front a live crowd since losing to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Rousey is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on Jan. 23, which will mark her first major television appearance since losing as well. Rousey has made an effort to stay away from media interviews and cameras since her devastating knockout loss to Holm back in November. She has had one highlighted interview with ESPN magazine, and aside from that has been rather quiet on her social media with hints of unhappiness in some of her posts.

Conor McGregor has taken the world by storm since bursting out onto the UFC scene back in early 2013. Since then he has gone 7-0 inside the Octagon, including a win over Chad Mendes for the interim UFC featherweight championship, and a 13 second KO win over Jose Aldo for the UFC featherweight championship.

Yes you read that headline correct. While Luke Rockhold may have defeated Chris Weidman via 4th round TKO at UFC 194 to claim the UFC middleweight championship, that doesn’t mean that Rockhold was pleased with his performance.

We don’t mean to gawk over the guy’s body, but it’s not often you see the UFC President in this light. Usually, in suits or his favorite fight shirts, Dana White’s recent shirtless beach scene is obvious that he has been spending time in the gym and it is paying dividends. White appeared in his new ‘Dana White Looking For A Fight’ show and was at the beach with former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra and White’s long time friend Nick The Tooth. In a few clips, White was without his shirt and showed off his shredded physique.

It was a controversial decision that had a lot of people arguing over who won the fight between Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit at UFC 195 over the weekend. The split decision was ultimately given to the defending champion Robbie Lawler by the judges. However, Former WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner did not agree with the judges. Varner tweeted a humorous MEME of Steve Harvey and Carlos Condit acknowledging Condit who was the former WEC welterweight champion.

Since Luke Rockhold defeated Chris Weidman at UFC 194 to claim the UFC middleweight championship, there has been much talk as to when his first title defense would be, and who it would be against. While some want to see a rematch between Weidman and Rockhold, Yoel Romero’s UFC 194 win over Jacare Souza put him in a position to get the next crack at the UFC championship, leaving many to wonder who would get the first crack at Rockhold.

Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey has mostly stayed out of the public eye since her UFC 193 KO loss to Holly Holm at the end of 2015. While Rousey still attended the Marine Corps ball, the premiere of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ and has even been booked to host Saturday Night Live, she has stayed away from major public appearances.

Ronda Rousey has been laying low since her defeat against Holly Holm at UFC 193. UFC CEO Lorenzo Fertitta has mentioned that Rousey will be filming two movies before making her way back to fighting in the Octagon, but it looks like Ronda has also been busy doing a shoot for the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. If you had any hopes that Reebok would stop making careless mistakes on UFC merchandise in the new year, you’ll lose hope after seeing their latest mistake. While we’ve seen the ‘Anderson Aldo’ fight kit shirt, and Jiu-Jitsu specialist Conor McGregor shirt, this mistake was made on the Reebok website, and involves fan favorite female fighter, Paige VanZant.

Mixed martial arts is an amazing sport. There are so many disciplines to be trained in to put together a complete game and at times it takes learning from a defeat to better your game. Take for instance UFC veteran Demian Maia with his world-class jiu-jitsu game recently linked up with former opponent Neil Magny for a seminar. Maia put on a ground clinic against Magny at their fight at UFC 190, and Magny was humbled in defeat.
