The Brazilian was originally slated to square off with Rick Story back in June, but Silva was pulled from the card just eight days before the fight due to visa issues. The fight was rescheduled for “UFC Fight Night 74” which took place last night, but Story pulled out of the bout due to an injury twelve days before the fight.

Charles Oliveira’s night ended early when he suffered a freak injury in the octagon during his main-event bout with “Blessed” Max Holloway. While nothing is official, it looked as if Oliveira damaged his shoulder during or after his takedown attempt of Holloway. Holloway fought off a takedown attempt and demanded the fight remain standing, forcing Oliveira to get back to his feet. When Oliveira stood straight up, he clutched his shoulder and backed up and essentially forfeited the match by sitting in the corner of the cage.

Whether it’s winning a shot at the title or earning a $50K bonus, “Cowboy” always impresses and brings the crowd to their feet when he fights. There are a FEW things Cerrone still needs to master, however, and tightrope walking was one of them. At the beginning of the video, Cerrone is struggling to make it two steps across the tightrope without holding onto the fence. By the end of the video above, he is doing backflips off the thing!
