UFC Fight Night 69 goes down this afternoon on UFC Fight Pass. The card airs early since it’s in Berlin, Germany. In the main event, for the first time ever, a UFC title will be on the line on a Fight Pass exclusive event. Strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will take on Jessica Penne.
Visa system issue forces changes to several bouts on the June 27 fight card

Due to an issue affecting the Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs visa system and a technical problem with the Consular Consolidated Database, UFC is unable to secure entry into the country for 12 of its athletes slated to compete at UFC FIGHT NIGHT: MACHIDA vs. ROMERO on Saturday, June 27, at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. After reviewing every available option, UFC has committed to moving forward with the fight card in Florida, adding several new bouts to round out the nine-fight card.

“It won’t be easy to take him to the ground. He is training a lot of takedown defense, so this fight could unfold completely standing up. My goal is to explore his weaknesses. I have to escape his range and avoid his knees. He also has a good jab and moves his head well. I think the best strategy for me would be to close the distance and work on strikes on the inside. But I have three submissions and three takedowns up my sleeve. I’ve been drilling them until they become second nature.”
