I remember as a kid watching WWE as a kid (they called it WWF back then) and wondering why would some of these guys enjoy getting boo’d at.   It’s only when you realize that not everyone can be champ and regardless if it’s pro wrestling or combat sports in general, having a unique identity is part of the sports entertainment package.

Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey had a busy year in and out of the octagon.   The 14 second defeat is the 2nd fastest in title history and just like a blazing hook or thunderous uppercut KO, a submission can end fights equally as fast.    Cat Zingano had only one fight in 2015.

While Conor McGregor ultimately defeated Jose Aldo at UFC 194 in just 13 seconds, many fans were critical of his head coach John Kavanagh leading up to the fight. According to Kavanagh, the footage used in the UFC’s Embedded vlog series didn’t show the full picture of what went down in McGregor’s training camp leading up to the fight, and caused unnecessary panic among fans.

Former WWE superstar CM Punk may not have actually made his UFC debut yet, or even have a professional MMA fight, but that hasn’t stopped the EA Sports team from putting him in EA Sports UFC 2, which releases March 21st. According to What Culture, EA Sports has confirmed that CM Punk will in fact be in the game, which raises the question of ‘how will the development team rank his attributes?’
