BJPENN.COM has learned that Khabib Nurmagomedov suffered an injury and has been forced off of UFC 187. The injury, believed to be a torn knee, occurred during training. Nurmagomedov was originally scheduled to fight Donald Cerrone in a lightweight match, but Cerrone is now looking for a new opponent.

Whether or not Robinson stole talent and bought his way to a world-class gym or not, Lambert had a reason to hate his rival when the Blackzilians picked up the first win of the season. Blackzilians lead with 25 points (ATT has 0) and tonight’s fight is also worth 25 points.

Tuesday evening was not the first time a fighter has been stripped of his title and it won’t be the last. However, Jon Jones became the first champion to be stripped for violating the fighter’s code of conduct policy after his hit and run incident!

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has kept to himself and chose his words carefully whenever speaking to the public while this “UFC 187” drama played out. Johnson and Jones had a mutual respect and rarely ever trash talked each other leading up to their fight. As Jones’ stock has fallen overnight it seems, Johnson remained supportive of Jones and sent him a heartfelt message through Twitter:

Once Shamrock caught wind of what was happening to Jones, he saw it as an opportunity to try and talk some sense into Jones by relating with him at moments. While he was in town, White was questioned by the media about Jones and what his punishment would be. Somber in his response, White seemed stern and set that he had something in mind. Of course, later that day, White would announce the stripping of the title and suspension of Jon Jones.

So now Daniel Cormier will face Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 for the light-heavyweight title.
