Former UFC champion Vitor Belfort has been the subject of much criticism over the last few years for his controversial usage of Testosterone Replacement Theory. Recently, it was revealed that the UFC knew Belfort had a sketchy drug test prior to his UFC 152 fight against Jon Jones back in 2012, however they allowed him to fight anyway. Just last month Belfort opened up about the drug test, and stated that he was cleared by the UFC and commission to fight, which sparked an outrage from fans.

On Nov. 15, UFC 193 takes place in Melbourne, Australia in the Etihad Stadium. The UFC looks to surpass their live attendance record of 55,000 back at UFC129: St-Pierre v Shields in 2011. According to Fox Sports, the UFC has 53,359 seats in the stands and is setting 15,000 more on the ground level.

Tyron Woodley is currently sitting on a 2-fight win streak that most recently saw him defeat Kelvin Gastelum via split decision. Woodley was supposed to fight former UFC welterweight champion Johny Hendricks at UFC 192, however a botched weight cut landed Hendricks in the hospital and left Woodley without an opponent. After Hendricks botched weight cut, UFC President Dana White stated that Woodley would get the next title shot, however he then changed his tune and wouldn’t commit to giving Woodley the next title shot.

While there is still no word yet on when Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez will have their rematch for the UFC heavyweight championship, it looks like we’re getting closer to an official date. Ariel Helwani reported on UFC Tonight Wednesday evening that the UFC is looking to book the fight at UFC 196 on February 6th in Las Vegas.

It was announced last month that Nick Diaz and the NSAC were in potential settlement talks that could see Diaz return to the Octagon in 2016. Ariel Helwani reported on UFC Tonight that Diaz and the NSAC could be close to reaching an agreement that would see Diaz’s suspension dropped from 5 years down to 18 months! In addition Diaz would be fined $100,000.

In response to Bellator lightweight champion Will Brooks’ claim of the Pitbull brothers attacking him, Patricio Freire tweeted that Brooks is a liar.
