The UFC 193: Rousey vs. Holm weigh-ins have been set for November 13th in Melbourne at the Etihad Stadium, where the event will go down the next day. The doors to the stadium will open for weigh-ins at 1 p.m. PST, with the first fighter on the scale at 2 p.m. PST according to MMAJunkie. As always, the official weigh-ins will be streamed on the UFC’s YouTube channel.

While this wasn’t too long ago, on this day in 2012 the UFC announced that Michael Bisping and Vitor ‘The Phenom’ Belfort would headline ‘UFC on FX.’ Every MMA fan knows how the bout went. Belfort landed a brutal highlight reel head kick on Bisping that left him “permanently disfigured” according to ‘The Count.’ The kick went on to become one of the most popular head kick knockouts in MMA history!

UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum appeared on the MMA Hour and spoke with Ariel Helwani on a potential rematch with heavyweight great, Fedor Emelianenko. Werdum said that he does not see the Russian fighting in the UFC any time soon, probably tied with a two or three year contract with Rizin. “He deserved a fight in the UFC, for sure, but I think maybe in Japan… Hey man, (they) love him in Japan,” Werdum said. “The big show coming up now in December in Japan, I think it’s a huge show. For sure, I (said) before in one interview (that) I like Fedor in the UFC, rematch with me, for sure, 100 percent. Maybe one fight in the UFC, the second one fight with me. I have a lot of respect for Fedor.”

UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier has signed a new 8-fight deal with the UFC. It sounds like the UFC is treating the champ very well, giving him what he says is a very fair deal.

Recently UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey stated that she believes Holly Holm would be much happier if she lost their UFC 193 bout because she would be unable to handle the pressure of being a UFC champion. Holm disagrees with Rousey, and believes that she would be able to handle the pressures of being a champ.

Miesha Tate has been quite frustrated with her place in the UFC women’s bantamweight division lately. After defeating Jessica Eye, Tate was under the impression that she would get a title shot against Ronda Rousey, however the UFC gave the shot to Holly Holm.

Tim Kennedy hasn’t fought in the UFC since losing to Yoel Romero at UFC 178 via controversial TKO. Since then Kennedy has been extremely outspoken in regards to the UFC’s uniform deal with Reebok, and has stated several times that he won’t return to fighting unless the opportunity is right. In addition Kennedy has found work as an actor, most notably in ‘Range 15’ which is a raunchy zombie movie that features several other high-profile MMA fighters (Read about that by clicking THIS LINK).

It’s no secret that Conor McGregor’s cut down to featherweight is taxing. The interim featherweight champion shows up to weigh-ins looking like a shell of his normal self, and with the UFC’s recent IV ban, McGregor’s chances of going up to lightweight have increased significantly. Earlier this week McGregor’s teammate Gunnar Nelson gave his thoughts on weight cutting and what can be done to prevent fighters from cutting so much weight and potentially harming themselves while shedding tremendous amounts of weight.
