“I doubt he’ll (Dana White) miss me at all. I’m pretty sure I was a thorn in UFC’s side for awhile. I did everything in my power to fix the relationship. Honestly, I was wrong doing “The A-Team” movie because I was scheduled to fight Rashad in Memphis. That was a hard decision for me. I know I messed up by doing that. That’s why I didn’t pull out of that fight in Japan (February 26, 2012, against Ryan Bader) when I was injured. I wanted to show Dana that I still got his back and I thought I could beat Bader even with an injury. So I thought I was going to try to fix this relationship, but then that made it worse. Because Dana was saying face to face that everything was cool, but then talked shit behind my back for not making weight and said a few things in the press. That was the straw the broke the camel’s back. That’s when I knew there was no repairing that relationship and that’s the day I decided to say I am going to leave the UFC.”

Former interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit (28-7, fighting out of Albuquerque, N.M.) returns to the Octagon® to face top contender Martin Kampmann (20-6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nev.) on Wednesday, August 28 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. The two previously met in 2009, with Kampmann earning a razor-thin split decision. Now the two meet again to settle the score in the UFC’s first event in Indianapolis since UFC 119 in 2010. “Two of the top-ranked welterweights in the division will collide when former interim UFC champion Carlos Condit meets Martin Kampmann in Indianapolis,” UFC President Dana White said. “Both of these guys love finishing fights, so this is gonna be a war!”

“For those who don’t know, I’m a commentator for the UFC in Spanish because I can speak in Spanish … after living for many years in Spain. I came to the UFC with the idea of doing an ‘Ultimate Fighter’ with (Cain) Velasquez in Mexico. I don’t know if he’s going to beat (Junior dos Santos) It’s going to be a very good fight. I’ll be sitting back, observing both of them.” Part of the UFC Latino Broadcast team, Fabricio Werdum, tells the media during last weekend’s UFC on FUEL TV 10 post-fight presser that he wants to coach a TUF show in Mexico opposite UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez.

(A title shot) is absolutely one of my goals, but there is a bunch of tough up-and-coming fighters out there that would be good fights for me. At this point I am focused on Rashad, but ultimately my goal is to win a UFC title.” In speaking with MMAWeekly, MMA Legend, Dan Henderson makes it clear that he has his eyes on another title run.
