Anderson “The Spider” Silva, the UFC Middleweight Champion, opened up to Karyn Bryant on FUEL TV’s “From All Angles”. Silva explains how the Nogueira brothers convinced him to keep fighting, his warrior spirit and his family. “The Nogueira brothers are part of my family. I love these buys because me stay together with my dream, because one day I talked to Rogerio and Rodrigo and say I no more fight bro… Ya, the time Rogerio and Rodrigo talk to me, I no have nothing. My dream was lost, Rodrigo talked to me and said ‘hey come to my house, I will help you. Don’t worry. Come to hear, we will train together.’ I finished my contract with Pride. The guys tell me not to fight in Pride anymore. I said ‘what? I fight in Pride, I’m good in Pride. I had no problem with Pride, but Rodrigo help me for better fights. I love Rodrigo. I love Rogerio. This is my family.”

After an odd sequence of events following a positive marijuana drug test from UFC lightweight Pat Healy, Bryan Caraway will now receive the post fight bonus that Healy was stripped of.  Healy announced recently that he failed his drug test from UFC 159, and the UFC proceeded to suspend Zuffa’s new exciting lightweight 90 days, and turn his latest win over Jim Miller into a no contest. Meanwhile, Bryan Caraway, who choked out “Brutal” Johnny Bedford on the same night, will be awarded $65,000 which is half of Healy’s earned bonus money.  The remaining $65,000 that Healy pocketed for fight of the night will simply be taken away from the electric lightweight.

“I’m not like, a threat to America or anything — I’m just ready to do my job and that’s it. I don’t know what it is, I’m running out of time just to get over there and get acclimated. I fought in Vegas once before and I went out there four days out from the fight, and that was quite tiring. I was going to bed at six in the morning, American time, and everyone else was just waking up. It was a bit of a problem, so I just have to get my visa in time to get acclimatized. Hopefully soon — tomorrow or tonight. It’s just frustrating, but what can you do? I can’t do anything about it. It’s not in my hands anymore. I’ll just leave it in God’s hands, and see whatever happens, happens.” UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt is on the verge of missing out on one of the biggest opportunities in his Mixed Martial Arts Career.

“He felt very disrespected and felt like he never really belonged here,” White said. “He had a losing record in PRIDE and we didn’t want to bring him into the UFC, so we said, ‘We’ll pay you the money and you can ride off into the sunset and do your thing.’ And he was like, ‘F— that. I want to be paid to fight.’ First of all, a losing record, his age, the guy hadn’t fought in a long time. It just made no sense to bring the guy in. Even though we weren’t wrong (about not wanting him at first), we ended up being wrong. He proved us wrong, he proved everybody who doubted him wrong. We just didn’t cut him, we kept him – and imagine if we had cut him.
