Chris Lytle Contemplates Return: Would Probably Come Back For A Nick Diaz Type Guy | UFC NEWS
BJPENN.COM News - December 27, 2012
“You know, there always is [an interest in fighting again] and it never really left me, but the reason I kinda retired was I just wasn’t putting in enough time in the family and I just can’t commit myself to that kind of training anymore where I’m gone at all times every time, so, you never know. I always say if maybe something came up with a guy I want to fight, something happens to his opponent like a week out I might take that, so that could happen. Barring that? No I’m not, I’m not going to go back to training full time.” “No, I don’t really care about [it being a title fight], it’s more about the type of person, you know I want – there’s a few guys, you know man like a Nick Diaz type guy who, I like Nick I wouldn’t really want to fight him, but maybe something like who, I like the way he comes forward to fight you, to punch you in the face and take you go out and just go the whole time and doesn’t really care about a decision. That’s the way I am, so, guys like that, you know, I always like the way certain guys like that fight. Maybe like a Carlos Condit, something like that those type of fights interest me. But, you know, those are kind of big fights that I don’t see happening unless their opponent pulls out at the last minute and they need somebody.”

Chael Sonnen: Marquez 'miraculously went through puberty a second time' in Pacquiao fight
BJPENN.COM News - December 27, 2012
“Pacquiao got hit by a guy who miraculously went through puberty a second time at 39 years old. He got hit by a guy that showed up with more power at 39 than he had in any of the previous fights. He had a 6 pack that he never had before. There’s two tests that you have, Jim. You’ve got the pee test, but you’ve also got the visual test. When you take your robe off and you get in the ring that’s your first test. And to act as if all of us didn’t go, ‘Something’s going on there.’ No, I haven’t said that (he’s on PEDs), but I sure came close, didn’t I? I know that Freddy Roach did. I know Freddy Roach said, ‘If that body’s clean, I kiss your ass.’ But you gotta understand, all substances aren’t illegal. Did he take something? Sure, he did. Did he take something illegal? Well, according to the test, no.I just know you don’t go through puberty twice and I’ll leave it at that.” Former UFC middleweight title challenger, Chael P Sonnen, took to Showtime’s Jim Rome show to promote his upcoming coaching sting on “The Ultimate Fighter”.
Belcher Planning On "Bringing The Pain" To Okami This Saturday Night | UFC NEWS
BJPENN.COM News - December 26, 2012
“Every second we’re on the feet, I’m going to be bringing the pain to him. I’m going to make him make him not want to be in there with me. I want it worse than him, I want this win worse than any fight ever,” Belcher said. “If he can’t get me down, he’s going to be crapping his pants. Whenever I hit him, he’s going to realize when he looks in my eyes that I want it a lot more than he does, and he’s just going to be the best he can just fighting off his instincts, his heart’s not really going to be in it because he’s going to feel my heart and my ferocity. He will be scared.”
Hector Lombard Calls Palhares Broken Foot "Karma" | UFC NEWS
BJPENN.COM News - December 26, 2012
“I didn’t want to say anything but “Toquinho” has been saying he fought with a broken foot and I just wanted to tell him that he broke his foot in the fight, and that doesn’t count. If he went into the fight with a broken foot, that’s another thing, but he went to the fight healthy and he broke his foot in the fight and that doesn’t count. Sort of like if you get KO’d in a fight, that doesn’t count. Now if you go to the fight with a concussion, it counts, but if you get KO’d in the fight, it doesn’t count. He went to the fight healthy and was kicking me and I checked all his kicks with my knee and he broke his foot. That’s why I wanted everybody to reach out to me because he didn’t enter the fight with a broken foot. He got injured during the fight.

Boetsch Planning On More Passive Approach To Title Shot: "Just Beat People Up"
BJPENN.COM News - December 26, 2012
“For me that gets frustrating. Just because I’m one of those guys who isn’t very vocal about calling people out and saying I deserve such and such an opponent. Michael (Bisping)‘s very good at that and he’s made a career out of it, there are talks of him getting a title shot maybe before even I do, so he’s done a good job of promoting himself and that’s one way of doing it. “I think the better way to do it, or the way I prefer to do it, is to step in the cage and beat people up, and eventually they’re going to have to give me a title shot because I’m going to run out of people to beat up. That’s how I plan on doing it.”

Joey Beltran Wants A Quick Turnaround Ready To Fight In Anaheim | UFC NEWS
BJPENN.COM News - December 22, 2012
“The only person that I really would like to fight is Thiago Silva, but he’s suspended right now. It’s kind of like a half-assed call out, even though I don’t mean for it to be. I would love to fight him for the disrespect that he showed teammate, Brandon Vera. I also think that would be a badass scrap. Like I said, he’s suspended, so that ain’t gonna happen any time soon. At this point, I don’t care who I fight, but I want to be on that Anaheim card in February. I know it’s a quick turn around, but I don’t have a scratch on me. I’m ready to rock and I want to fight on that show.”

Ronda Rousey: UFC is more pure than the Olympics | UFC NEWS
BJPENN.COM News - December 21, 2012
“The UFC and MMA stuff is so much more pure compared to all that to me,” Rousey said. “No one is going to change the rules of MMA because they prefer European style over Japanese style. It’s never going to be like that. It will be as close to a real fight as possible and whoever wins, wins. “I like that there’s a lot of money involved, that there isn’t going to be people who are selling out for nothing. You can’t predict people like that. There are people [in judo] called sellouts, and stabbing you on the back so they can get on some committee that pays you nothing.”
