UFC officials have tied down December’s UFC on FOX 5 card with 13 fights. UFC on FOX 5 is set to take place at Seattle’s KeyArena on December 8. In the main event UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson will defend his title against Nate Diaz. BJ Penn also makes his return from retirement on the evening’s main card against the fast rising Rory MacDonald.

It was important for the company, for the fans and for the world. He continued, even knowing that he should not. Anderson Silva is a true martial artist, he studied martial arts, is a great representative of the sport. Nick loves martial arts and that, for him, is enough to put Anderson Silva as the opponent. … I heard Dana White’s statements saying that Nick will have to fight someone before having another chance at the title shot and there are a lot of fighters out there who would love this fight.” There is at least one welterweight who is drooling over the possibility of facing Anderson Silva, but it’s not GSP.

UFC welterweight fighter Josh Koscheck confirmed recently through twitter that Nick Diaz coach, Cesar Gracie, contacted him to try and put together a fight in February. Diaz is still currently serving out a suspension handed down to him by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
