Ronda Rousey looks to be collecting more motivation and is still in her “#quotephase” after losing her championship title to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Rousey posted a quote to her Instagram account from Robert Green Ingersoll who once said, “The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart.”

The buzz of Conor McGregor’s next fight has been circulating and gaining massive attention, but nothing has been officially announced from the UFC. Reports have mentioned that McGregor would be going up to the lightweight division to challenge lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos. However, it doesn’t look as if McGregor’s opponent has been set just yet. An earlier report indicated McGregor was still negotiating the fight deal asking for more money. True or not, McGregor’s camp has revealed that “The Notorious” will be fighting at UFC 197 in March, regardless of who the opponent is.

With UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm putting on such a dominant performance over the once thought unbeatable Ronda Rousey back at UFC 193, many might think Holm will easily continue to dominate the division. Although we have yet to get the official announcement from the UFC, multiple sources including Holly Holm herself have acknowledged she will be defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title for her first time against Miesha Tate. Early betting odds have opened up for the championship match rumored to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada at UFC 197 in March, where a lightweight title fight between featherweight champion Conor McGregor and lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos may also take place. Best Fight Odds have the champion Holm as the favorite at -380 and Tate at +315 as of this writing.

Big news was recently being circulated in the media as UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor was in talks to be fighting UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos. The UFC never made an official announcement for the bout that is expected to take place at UFC 197. Now, it looks like the fight between the two champions may have hit a rocky road. Close ties to both fighters being McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh and dos Anjos’ manager Ali Abdel-Aziz tweeted some interesting info that perhaps an agreement on the fight cannot be made.

If there is any reason why rising UFC lightweight star Sage Northcutt has been getting randomly drug tested by USADA in a high frequency, it could be that he simply looks like he is could be on performance enhancing drugs. Just look at him in this photo he posted to his Instagram account that he captioned, “Randomly drug tested by the UFC’s United States Anti- Doping Agency at 6:00 A.M this morning. 6 drug tests in 3 months.” Northcutt looks like he is ready to compete in a bodybuilding competition, and his test results have all come out clean to this date.
