So these days it seems like all the movie roles are going to the UFC’s female fighters. From Ronda Rousey taking over Hollywood and replacing Patrick Swayze to the Anti-Rousey group, Miesha Tate, Holly Holm and Cyborg acting in that ‘Fight Valley’ movie. As far as current male UFC fighters, it looks like they’re out of luck in the Hollywood department. Well, we put our casting hat on and came up with a few great ideas for some movie roles for some of the biggest UFC stars to play.

As you might have heard, a certain former UFC light heavyweight champion is on the verge of returning. That’s right, Jon ‘Bones’ Jones received no jail time and will only have 18 months of probation following that hit and run situation back in April.

UFC 192 goes down Saturday night in Houston, TX and will be a showcase of the UFC’s top light heavyweights. We’ll see the return of former champ Rashad Evans who will take on Ryan Bader and then in the main event the title will be on the line when champ Daniel Cormier defends his belt for the first time against Alexander Gustafsson. The main card, which lost it’s co-main event when Hendricks vs. Woodley was pulled, also features a top flyweight scrap between Ali Bagautinov and Joseph Benavidez as well as a bantamweight fight between Jessica Eye and Julianna Pena.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones seems to be close to making his return to the octagon. The fighter dodged jail time and was given 18 months of probation after agreeing to a guilty plea agreement in relation to his felony fleeing the scene charge from his hit and run incident back in April. The UFC said they will be reviewing his guilty plea agreement and then deciding if his indefinite suspension will be lifted. So, we still don’t know for sure if he’ll return, but, let’s be real.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez took part in a fan Q&A prior to today’s UFC 192 weigh-ins in Houston, where he revealed that his rematch with Fabricio Werdum is being targeted for a March event in Brazil. “Now we’re hearing March in Brazil, so I’m happy about that,” Velasquez told MMAjunkie. “I’m looking to move on, so I’m just happy to get the rematch and that’s it.”
Despite Fight Cancelation, Tyron Woodley Steps On The Scale And Makes Weight

In a very interesting and somewhat honorable move on Friday, UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley came out before all the other fighters and stepped on the scale, to make-weight. That’s despite the fact that he is no longer fighting Saturday, after his fight with Johny Hendricks was canceled early Friday morning due to a health issue with Hendricks.

UFC 192 takes place Saturday night in Houston, TX, which means all the fighters stepped on the scale on Friday and made things official, well expect for the scheduled co-main event between Johny Hendricks and Tyron Woodley. Aside from that, all the rest of the fighters took part in the weigh-ins and looked to make their required weight. All fighters made weight except Francisco Trevino, who fights Sage Northcutt on the prelims.

As you might have heard by now, this morning UFC president Dana White announced on Twitter that the welterweight fight between Johny Hendricks and Tyron Woodley, set to take place Saturday at UFC 192, has been canceled. The only info he gave was that it was due to an issue with Hendricks’ weight cut. We then found out that Hendricks was rushed to the emergency room Thursday night and suffered an intestine blockage and a kidney stone.

Well it’s that time of the month again. At the start of every month the UFC updates their roster, which then shows the fighters that are no longer in the database, usually meaning that they’ve been released. UFCFIGHTERSiNFO is always on top of the updates and releases the names of any fighters that no longer show up in the UFC’s database. So while it’s not official yet, these names more so than not end up being fighters who are no longer with the promotion.

Amongst the disappointing and unfortunate news that came out this morning, that Johny Hendricks was forced out of his fight with Tyron Woodley because of a weight cutting issue, there was one fighter who aimed to cheer everyone up with his humor. Current UFC light heavyweight Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson took to Twitter to let everyone know that he was going to drop down to 170 pounds, in a matter of hours, in order to fill in for Hendricks and fight Woodley at Saturday’s UFC 192.
