Everyone and their mother has come out in support of UFC fighter Nick Diaz following his controversial five-year suspension, handed down by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. There’s a White House Petition still going around, steadily gaining more votes by the day, and then there are fighters who have decided to boycott Nevada, saying that they will not fight there because of the ruling.

Upcoming UFC lightweight title challenger Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone will face off with the champ, Rafael dos Anjos, at UFC on FOX 17 on Dec. 19. Recently, Cerrone appeared on an episode of UFC commentator Joe Rogan’s podcast, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience.’ Cerrone talked about all kinds of things, both MMA and non MMA related. While talking (and drinking), Cerrone mentioned to Rogan that former champ Anthony Pettis had offered to help train him for the bout with RDA, because of how much he hates him.

This past weekend, UFC heavyweight Josh Barnett defeated Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night: Japan in a five round battle. Barnett looked incredible in the fight, keeping a super fast pace and pressuring Nelson for a the majority of the fight, clinching and landing big strikes often. Right after the fight everyone started talking about possible match-ups for the former champ, including Andrei Arlovski or maybe even a rematch with Travis Browne.

UFC strawweight and TUF 20 cast member Bec Rawlings already had a bunch to tattoos, but her new one, well, it’s on a whole new level. Rawlings took to Instagram to document her new ink, showing pictures of the process from start to finish. She got the side of her head shaved up and then went right into getting a massive tatt put there.

I mean, it was already massive amongst the MMA community, but now it’s breaking out into the mainstream media. Posted on Instagram, we now have a video of rapper Wiz Khalifa showing his support for UFC fighter Nick Diaz regarding his controversial five-year suspension. As I’m sure you know, Diaz was suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for five years for testing positive for marijuana metabolites. There’s a White House Petition going around, UFC fighters boycotting Nevada and even the UFC chipping in and lending Diaz their legal team. Now, there’s Wiz Khalifa. Check it out!

Currently, we don’t know what’s next for UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. He just recently fought John Dodson in a rematch and dominated him for five rounds to defend his belt. The division seems to be in a little bit of a wait and see phase as far as title challengers go. Just about all of the top flyweights have already challenged, and lost, to the champ. There’s been talks of Henry Cejudo being next, but he’s got a fight coming up in Mexico he has to get through first.
