Penne vs. Lima Booked For Brazil’s UFC Fight Night 67

A female strawweight bout between Jessica Penne (pictured, left) and Juliana Lima has been added to Brazil’s UFC Fight Night 67 event, set for May 30.

The Brazilian Media was first to report the bout.

Southern California’s Penne is a former Invicta FC champion who made her way to the UFC through the TUF 20 house. She was unable to get passed eventual season winner Carla Esparza, but bounced back in her UFC debut, with a split-decision win over Randa Markos.

Lima, a two UFC fight veteran is 1-1 under the promotional banner. The Brazilian strawweight met new champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk in her UFC debut, but bounced back from that defeat with a win over Nina Ansaroff.
