Phoenix International Raceway Maintained Cruz Sponsorship Throughout Injuries

Dominick Cruz is set to make his return to the UFC tomorrow night against Takeya Mizugaki, after nearly a three year long absence from competition due to 2 torn ACL’s and a torn groin muscle.

While most of the MMA world turned their back on the former banatmweight champion, one of his biggest sponsors, Phoenix International Raceway hasn’t.

Phoenix International Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber spoke with MMAJunkie about their sponsorship with Cruz.

The former bantamweight champion is extremely appreciative of the support, and is excited to return to the Octagon.
