QUICK TWITT: UFC Eyeing Bout Between JDS And Stipe Miocic

The UFC is targeting a heavyweight bout between Junior Dos Santos and Stipe Miocic for UFC on Fox 13 in December.

The fight will mark Dos Santos’ first fight back to the Octagon after being TKO’d by Cain Velasquez back in October of 2013. Prior to that bout, Dos Santos had knocked out Mark Hunt with a wheel kick.

Stipe Miocic on the other hand is on a 3-fight win streak that saw him pick up wins over Roy Nelson, Gabriel Gonzaga, and most recently Fabio Maldonado via TKO.

The pair was originally scheduled to fight at UFC 173 in May, but was pushed back to the TUF Brazil Finale, and then cancelled all together after Dos Santos was forced out of the bout with an injury.

Also, per UFC Tonight, a fight between Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos is "more than likely" for Dec. 13 in Phoenix.
