Raphael Assuncao didn’t know his arm was broken

UFC on Fuel TV 10 fighter Raphael Assuncao assumed he tore a muscle as he continued his fight with Mike Easton to a unanimous decision win back at UFC on Fox 7.

Assuncao spoke to mmajunkie.com about the fight saying:

“It was only after the fight that I realized my arm was really broken.”

For those that missed the fight, Assuncao answered the bell for every round and was still able to maintain dominant ground control against Easton en route to a unanimous decision win that extended his win streak to 3.

Assuncao’s next fight is against Vaughn Lee this Saturday on the Facebook preliminary fights of UFC on Fuel TV 10.
