Reebok Signs First Brazilian UFC Fighter To Exclusive Contract

“We think ‘Jacare’ fits very nicely into what we’re doing, and for us he’ll be the face of UFC in Brazil, so it’s a big deal. He’s maybe one of the greatest jiu-jitsu artists who ever lived. He’s amazing. He’s a tactician of the sport.

“We love how versatile he is as a fighter, and we’re very excited to have him on our roster.”

That’s what Reebok senior director Michael Lunardelli said on Thursday in Rio de Janeiro about signing UFC middleweight ‘Jacare’ Souza to an exclusive sponsorship deal.

Souza is the first Brazilian UFC fighter to sign an individual deal with Reebok.
