Removing The Wire! Watch Makdessi’s Jaw Get Opened Back Up

John Makdessi stepped in on short notice and fought Donald Cerrone, that’s enough said right there. The guy is as tough as they come. That’s why at first it was a little shocking that he abruptly called it quits during the fight after taking a head kick to his, well, head.

Upon further observation it was clear that he actually made the smart move, knowing that the kick broke his jaw, there was no point in trying to continue.

Makdessi has posted videos and pictures on social media, documenting his healing process, with a wired-shut jaw. Well, now the wires are coming out, check it out below!
